The separable two-piece nylon body houses a full ship’s complement of Allen keys, a T25 driver, 8, 9 and 10mm spanners, spoke keys, screwdrivers, tyre levers, a knife, a bottle opener and a chain tool. The steel tools (Cr-V for the drivers, stainless for the rest) are pretty easy to use, with the spanners and (very sharp) knife locking into place. The chain tool is a solid performer, but does allow you to push the pin all the way out of the chain: care is needed, as it is with the metal tyre lever. The two halves lock together with a reassuring click, and the CDW comes with a nylon pouch wit a belt loop. We've been selling these tyres for over a 10 years and have found them to be very, very hard-wearing and the most puncture-resistant tyres which we know of. To qualify this statement we say "your odds of getting a puncture is about the same as a car's tyre". Most people are dubious of this claim and will have only one fitted - only to come back a couple of weeks later for the other tyre. Our regular users of these tyres will often ask for these to be transferred to a new wheel or fitted onto any of their new bikes. Most users have avoided punctures for two years - a very bold claim, but true!!! We strongly recommend that a) new inner tube is installed, b) let us fit them for you and c) that you maintain correct tyre pressure. Ideal for mission-critical journeys when you need to be on time and clean (e.g. for work). Most other bike shop will, either not recommend or stock them - it is not in a bike shop's interest to sell these (more £££s are generated in selling inner tubes and/or from their labour charges).
